The converted files are all pretty good and I'm making progress. It has allowed me to quickly convert each spread from Illustrator to InDesign. In any case, I am faced with converting an A4 sized catalog to 8.5"x11", converting all units to US standard and making many other changes to match the US model line up. Don't ask me why, but I am assuming it is because many Chinese printers seem to prefer Illustrator. The initial design and art production work was done in Asia and instead of using InDesign for this 40-page catalog, they used Illustrator.
